This home leaves little doubt why some Corolla vacationers ONLY stay in Corolla. What's not to love? Maybe it is the short walk (no car needed) to some of the very best restaurants on the Northern Beaches. Perhaps it is because you can walk to the coffee shop or maybe head over to play a round of miniature golf or even the ice cream shop without ever getting in a car! Guests of Corolla Light rave about the resort pools and beach accesses throughout the large community. Corolla Light can be considered a cruise ship on land, boasting the second-largest fitness facility on the Outer Banks and numerous community activities in the summer. This gorgeous home checks all of the boxes for the perfect summer vacation! The closest beach access to Hook, Wine, and Stinkers is roughly 1300 ft (a quick walk). Trolley service is available June-August, weather permitting.
The Lower Level of the home offers up a large game room w/wet bar, mini fridge, and pool table. Additionally, in the game room, there is a large smart TV and plenty of seating for movie/game nights. If you head outside from the game room, you will find the private, covered outside shower and grilling space. This area gives way to the heated (w/fee) pool and new hot tub. Situated at the end of a cul-de-sac, there is less through traffic than on the main roads in Corolla Light.
Whether it's spending the day climbing up the Currituck Light House, visiting the historic Whalehead Club, mastering Corolla's Adventure Park, relaxing by the private pool, or spending the day in the sand, Hook, Wine, and Stinkers has you covered! Take the trolley or walk the short distance to wide and clean beaches with a gradual drop-off that creates expansive areas for safe and fun ocean recreation. Oftentimes referred to as a "Cruiseship on Land", Corolla Light is more than just a community, offering activities for the whole family including 10 tennis courts and the second-largest fitness center on the Outer Banks. Numerous nearby attractions provide plenty more to do, including shopping, dining, and historical sights, there’s an adventure in every direction right outside the door.

Mid Level: Master Bed w/ King smart TV, private bathroom, and deck access. 2 Masters w/ Queen, smart TVs, private bathrooms, and deck accesses.
Top Level: Living Room w/ flat-screen TV, sound bar, gas fireplace, incredible views of the lighthouse. Dining room table seating 8, kitchen w/ island bar seating for 4, half bath. Master Bed w/ King, smart TV, private bathroom w/ whirlpool tub, deck access.

A Plus Vacation Home!
Thank you for allowing us in your home. We had a party of 11 people staying in the home. It was beautiful. We had beautiful weather. Great location, short walk to the beach. Loved having the pool to cool off in after a beach day. Walk to breakfast and mini golf. We can't say enough about this place. We had maintenance come out to look at the outlets by the pool, and it was only a flipped breaker. They were quick and reliable though! Clean, uncluttered, great place to gather. Our only suggestions would be to list more of what is available in the kitchen. We are planners and that would be super helpful so we wouldn't have taken as much. And also the furniture on the mid level deck is flaking paint. We had two more people that didn't fit at the dining room table, which was a bummer, but we made it work with the island. Fantastic Stay!

Great Family Vacation
Had a great time at Hook, Line and Stinker for the second year there. We did have a lot of rain, but it didn't stop us. Excellent spot for an active family
Great house with an ideal location - you can walk to the beach, swim in your heated pool, or stroll over to 4+ family restaurants. It's also just a short drive to other restaurants and attractions in the Corolla/Duck area. It's an "upside down" house with the master bedroom on the top floor and beds on mid-level for the kids. My kids had a ball with their privacy, but other families may want to take advantage of the 3 bedrooms on the mid-level if they don't yet trust their kids on their own level. Lots of "bonus" amenities, including a pool table and board games. We had a very minor issue (HVAC got stuck on a temperature) and the host fixed it fully on the same day. Spacious Resort Home
Overall the property worked well for our family of six. The bedrooms and living areas were spacious and inviting. Great Family Vacation
My husband and I, plus my son and daughter and her husband and their three children (20, 18, 17) stayed at Hook, Wine and Stinker from June 18-25, 2022. What a wonderful place! I have used VRBO since my children were in grade school and I have to say this was the best experience we ever had. Our only complaint was trying to get the house with the bumper to bumper traffic which took us 3 hours instead of the 20-25 minutes not on the day of arrival being Sat. We had left our home at 3:30 AM on Sat. and finally arrived at 7:30 PM. I really think something could be done about the road leading into Outer Banks-maybe different arrival days and time, or widening the road, or having people direct the traffic besides the traffic lights. The house was perfect for our group and so open and clean. The walk to the ocean was short, the pool by the ocean was great along with the restaurant there and the ocean was nice, although cold. The pool at the house was the perfect size. The closeness to the stores and restaurants and putt-putt course was an added attraction, along with all the sport activities available. Thanks for making our stay one of the best. Also dealing with Coast Realty was a breeze. They were so nice and always willing to help.
